Soil & Liquid Remediation

Mecca Remediation Facility specializes in the disposal and remediation of California non-hazardous contaminated soil and liquid. The facility will only accept California non-hazardous contaminated material for remediation and recycling.

How It Works

  • Incoming material is profiled for acceptance
    • A site history and analytical on the material is required before any acceptance is considered
    • Customer submits waste profile sheet documenting the generator information, customer information and the regulatory information on the waste
    • Arriving material is visually inspected prior to receiving at the scale, weighed and manifested
    • Soil is unloaded at the specified treatment zone; liquid is unloaded in a closed loop tank system
  • Contaminated material is placed in the corresponding treatment area
    • Stabilization material is calculated based on the level of contamination and volume of material being treated and placed on incoming soil
    • Contaminated material is treated per MRF Standard
    • The treated material is given 24 hours to stabilize
    • After stabilization, a 12-point composite sample is taken and sent to a state of California certified environmental lab6.If the results returned from the lab meet or exceed the required level, the material is certified clean based on the commercial/industrial standards for construction fill soil in the state of California, the treated material placed in the industrial fill area. If the results do not meet the required level, is retreated until testing results are within acceptable limits
    • Standard processing time of incoming soil is stabilization and placement within 96 hours of receipt
  • All stabilized material will be placed in the industrial fill site for future site expansion
